A heartfelt gift idea to rave about

With the holidays right around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about gifting! What do you give someone who has it all? Yes, every single material possession one can ask for? One whose love language is not material things but quality time, thought, and service. I enjoy gift giving and the thought that goes behind it. But sometimes… well a lot of the times, it’s unnecessarily stressful. And in the end when I have overthought it all, it results in the most thoughtful gift ever. A gift card. Self imposed stress, I know. The most memorable and treasured gifts tend to have no price attached and are more about the thought and time one put into it. –Tony, if you’re reading this…this does not apply to you…those heels and bracelet are exceptions to this rule!

I am very excited to share this gift idea with you!!! Earlier this week, we received two letters in the mail. It contained stamped postcards where the recipient was addressed to my dear friend, Jacie. It’s her annual 21st birthday. The beautiful postcard’s header said, “I am so glad you were born because…” (and you fill in the rest). My all heart friend, Cyndi, organized and planned this. What a wonderful idea that we can all do! It’s perfect for no particular reason or occasion at all. It can be given for a shower, wedding, birthday, or even in the most trying times.

All I needed to do was fill it out and mail it. In the end, the recipient will receive 25 different cards with heartfelt messages. What a great way to start off the birthday week!!! If you’d like, you can fill it with different headers. For example, “Remember when…” or “My most favorite memory with you is…” or “I look forward to….” the options are endless and this is such a thoughtful gift to give any friend. If you want to take it to another level, you can actually have the backside of the post card be a tile piece of a puzzle. This way, the recipient can hang it up as art if they choose. I hope you all like this idea as much as I do. Happy Gifting.

Thank you, Cyndi for doing this and sharing your gift with the rest of the world. Jacie, you’re a whole lot of something special and continue to make this world better with your kindness and how you continue to inspire. I hope the postcards touched your heart in the way that you touch others everyday. Happiest Birthday to you. Happy everyday. Happy always. I love you.
